Exploring the Coupling Gasket

The practice environment on the right contains a complete pump and motor with the coupling to transfer power from the motor to the pump. A coupling gasket is inside of the coupling housing where the pump and motor shafts meet.

Please explore the equipment using the predefined viewpoints and the VRML navigation dashboard capabilities.

As a practice activity, please grasp the coupling gasket and remove it from the coupling housing. Examine the coupling gasket for signs of wear.
